Who we are

MyFoodCraving ("MFC", "we") is operated by Infroid Technologies. This policy explains what data the MyFoodCraving app and website handle, why, and the choices you have. Contact: developer@infroid.in.

What we read from your health app

With your explicit permission, the app reads five signals — steps, active energy, sleep, heart rate, and heart-rate variability — from Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS).

• Read-only. We never write to your health records.
• On-device only. These signals are shown on your profile card and used on your device to put your energy needs in context. They are not uploaded to our servers, not sold, and not shared with anyone.
• Revocable. Withdraw access any time in Health Connect or the Apple Health app — MFC keeps working without it.

Location

For recipe recommendations we use your location only while you use the app to surface partner kitchens near you and set your region; it is never collected in the background. You can decline or revoke it in system settings; the rest of the app is unaffected.

When you request a chef booking, we store that booking's coordinates with the booking so the chef can reach you and so we can verify the cook actually started at your location. When the chef starts, we also record their device's location at that moment. These booking coordinates are used only for that booking and are automatically erased 90 days after the booking ends (see “How long we keep booking data”).

Booking details shared with your chef

To fulfil a cook-for-hire booking, the chef you choose is shown the details needed to cook for you: your name, delivery address, party size, and any dietary or allergy information you choose to share for that booking. This is shared only with that chef, only to prepare your food safely. You control what dietary information you provide.

Cook photos

During a booking your chef photographs the dishes they cook (it is how they mark the booking complete). These are stored privately and are visible only to you, your chef, and us — never public and never sold — and are automatically deleted 90 days after the booking ends.

How long we keep booking data

We keep booking records for as long as your account is active so you and your chef have a history. 90 days after a booking ends, we automatically erase the parts we no longer need — the stored booking coordinates, your address on that booking, and the cook photos. Deleting your account erases all of your data as described below.

Your account data

When you sign in (with Google — or Apple on iOS) we store: your email and display name, your food preferences (diet style, allergies and exclusions, goals, lifestyle), any bloodwork marker values you choose to enter, your saved recipes, cooking sessions, and meal log. This data powers your recipe recommendations and is visible only to your account, enforced by row-level security in our database (hosted on Supabase).

• Encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and at rest by our hosting provider.
• Never sold. No advertising, no data brokers, no third-party marketing.

Crash reports

To keep the app working we may collect crash and error diagnostics (via Sentry). These are configured to exclude personally identifying information.

Sharing

We share data with no one, with two narrow exceptions: our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database and authentication, Sentry for crash reports) process data on our behalf under their own security commitments, and we will disclose data if legally compelled.

Deleting your data

You can delete your bloodwork entries and preferences in the app at any time. To delete your whole account, open Account → Delete account in the app (full steps at myfoodcraving.com/delete-account). Your account and all associated data are permanently erased after a 30-day grace period — signing back in during that window cancels the deletion. You can also email developer@infroid.in from your account address; either way we complete deletion within 30 days.

Children

MyFoodCraving is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and the effective date above.
